The Abraham J. and Phyllis Katz Foundation, a long-time supporter and friend of Camp Twin Lakes, is an Atlanta-based family foundation that seeks to give back to the community by furthering Phyllis Katz’s love of music and the arts and Abraham Katz’s interest in advancing medical research. In order to enhance the family legacy, the Katz Foundation provides support to community organizations which focus on increasing access to music and performance, innovation in medicine, or supporting individuals with chronic illnesses and other life challenges.
The Katz Foundation's relationship with Camp Twin Lakes began with an astounding $100,000 donation made during 790 the Zone’s 2007 Camp Twin Lakes Radiothon. Since that time, The Katz Foundation has proudly invested together with CTL in supporting families and children who have experienced life changing illnesses or challenges. The Katz family members receive great pleasure in seeing the CTL campers enjoying themselves in a medically supportive camping atmosphere.
In addition to providing camper scholarships for hundreds of CTL campers, the Katz Foundation has also generously funded the Camp Twin Lakes-Will-A-Way Ropes Course. Camp Twin Lakes is grateful for the ongoing support from The Abraham J. and Phyllis Katz Foundation. For more information about the wonderful work of The Katz Foundation, please visit

Tappan Street Restaurant Group, a valued friend and indispensible supporter of Camp Twin Lakes, owns and operates
Taco Mac restaurants along with a number of other restaurants across the southeast. As a successful Atlanta business and an active member of Atlanta’s philanthropic community, Taco Mac credits its growth and success to the loyalty and support of the communities in which it operates. In an effort to give back, Taco Mac formed Taco Mac Charities to support local charities serving those local communities.
For several years, Taco Mac has proudly made Camp Twin Lakes the primary beneficiary of its many philanthropic endeavors. As just one example, in 2011, Taco Mac will hold its 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament with proceeds benefitting CTL. Additionally, Taco Mac has served as a presenting sponsor of both Camp Dance and Spin for Kids—two of CTL’s major fundraising events. Whenever CTL has asked Taco Mac for help, Taco Mac and its dedicated employees have responded beyond CTL’s wildest expectations. Camp Twin Lakes is grateful to Taco Mac for both its generous support and the best wings in town!

The Kids II Foundation is the charitable arm of Kids II, one of the fastest growing and most innovative infant product manufacturers in the world. Kids II believes it has a responsibility to make a difference in the lives of children and their families through both high quality products and through philanthropy.
As a part of their philanthropic program, the Kids II Foundation has supported Camp Twin Lakes through monetary donations and through the hands-on volunteering of their employees. One of Kids II’s favorite experiences with CTL has been their volunteer workday in August 2010, where over 60 Kids II employees travelled to CTL-Rutledge and spent the day cleaning cabins in order to get camp recovered from 11 weeks of summer camp and ready for our year-round weekend programs. The enthusiastic employees worked so hard and the cabins were spotless!
Kids II has generously sponsored 50 campers for a week of camp in summer 2011! Additionally, Kids II has purchased new aquatic wheelchairs as well as an accessible hayride wagon and a big inflatable slide. Our campers are going to be thrilled! Camp Twin Lakes is grateful for our partnership with Kids II and their dedicated and compassionate employees. For more information about the company and the foundation, please visit
